GLP Scan Operator FX

The Scan Operator FX is the new DMX lighting controller expanding GLPs Scan Operator range. It incorporates all functionality of the Scan Operator 12 Advanced and the Scan Operator 12 PT Advanced plus some very powerful new features.

The Scan Operator FX includes a powerful Effects Engine capable of generating 12 different Pan/Tilt movement patterns which can be configured in speed, size and phase. It also features a special function to create different kinds of wave patterns by altering the phase of every fixtures movement acordingly. Additionally the "FX Engine" includes a Randomize function which mutates the selected movement patterns randomly. This can be very handy in case asymmetric movements are desired. The resulting effects are added to the channels which have been marked as Pan/Tilt for each fixture. Pan/Tilt asssignments can be adjusted for
each fixture individually. The controller has 6 selective Overlay Scenes which can be used to alter the current DMX output. Each Overlay Scene can be set up to replace DMX output values for a subset of selected channels. This can be used for example to dynamically add strobe, change colors or control a DMX fog machine. Another new feature is the Autostart Mode which enables the user to save the current Playback state
into flash memory. The saved state will automatically be restored when the system powers up. The controller also features a desklock to prevent unauthorized access. The desklock may also be enabled along with the Autostart feature to lock the desk immediately after power on.
